The arrival of cold front 24 in several states of the country brought heavy snowfall that coated towns in white and created winter landscapes. The warm wave primarily affects the United States, but it also impacts northern states of Mexico, where temperatures below zero, snowfall, or sleet are registered according to the National Meteorological Service (SMN).
In some municipalities of Coahuila, snow was recorded, while in Saltillo, hundreds of residents went out to enjoy the snowfall and even made small snowmen. Nuevo León also experienced snowfall and sleet in high elevation areas. Local and state civil protection authorities have alerted the population about the drastic drops in temperatures.
