The Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM) reported the apprehension of three men identified as César Alberto “N”, Martín Gerardo “N” and Edgar Eduardo “N”. They are being investigated for their probable participation in the crime of deprivation of liberty of minors, against a teenager who had been reported missing in the municipality of Tecámac.
The events that motivated the investigation date back to last November 28, when the victim left her school heading to a property in the Ex Hacienda de Paula neighborhood, in the municipality of Temascalapa.
After carrying out investigative acts, the Public Ministry obtained a search warrant to inspect the home where the teenager was presumed to be.
The operation was carried out on December 10 with the participation of elements from the State Prosecutor's Office, the State Security Secretariat of the State of Mexico (SSEM) and the municipal police.
During the inspection, the authorities located the victim inside a wooden box painted partially black and fitted with two speakers.
After the rescue of the minor, the Agent of the Public Ministry requested and served the arrest warrants against the three individuals present at the scene.
The victim was transferred to a Justice Center for certification and subsequent delivery to her relatives.
