On Wednesday, March 12, 2025, an allegation of sexual abuse was made public by Claudia Lerma, who claims to be a cousin of Uriel Reyes Lerma. Claudia accuses Uriel Reyes, known for his work as a YouTuber on the channel Relatos de la Noche, of having abused her when she was a teenager.
According to Claudia Lerma's version, Uriel Reyes sexually assaulted her when she was between 13 and 14 years old, repeatedly abusing her and trying to force her to take sexual photographs. Through her social media, Lerma directed a message to Reyes, publicly denouncing his behavior.
Claudia Lerma stated on her Facebook account that Uriel Reyes was her aggressor during her adolescence, subjecting her to silence, intimidation, and sexual abuse. However, Lerma emphasized that now, as a strong woman, she will not allow herself to be silenced: "My cousin, my abuser from ages 13 to 14. #urielreyes".
In response to these accusations, Uriel Reyes, 41 years old and originally from Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, decided to deactivate his social media accounts and issued a statement categorically denying the allegations of sexual abuse made against him by his cousin. In his statement, Reyes asserted that these accusations are baseless and that he is taking the necessary measures to clarify the situation.
For her part, Claudia Lerma reaffirmed her allegation of sexual abuse by Uriel Reyes, arguing that the evidence of such abuse is reflected in the traumas she has had to endure, as well as in the psychiatric consultations she has undergone following the alleged abuses. Lerma expressed on her Facebook profile: "My life has been marked by a trauma that has defined each of my days. You silenced the girl, I have made the woman strong. Do you remember the photos you wanted to force me to take? The post-traumatic stress I carry is the consequence of your actions, which have not only destroyed my well-being but have also affected my entire family".
