Line 4 of the Light Rail in Tlajomulco is over 70% complete. Eight trains are on their way from China and will connect several municipalities.


Advances in Line 4 of the Light Rail in Tlajomulco

The progress of Line 4 of the Tlajomulco Light Rail exceeds 70%. The governor of Jalisco, Enrique Alfaro, informed on social media that eight trains are on their way to Jalisco from China.

"Eight more trains for Line 4 to Tlajomulco are already on their way by ship from the other side of the world. It was worth fighting for this dream that is getting closer to becoming a reality," commented the governor.

Line 4 of the Light Rail will be the first passenger transport route in the country that will integrate into the freight train's right of way and will also have connections to other mass transport systems.

In total, this line will have 12 trains operating at 8 stations along a route of 21 kilometers. It will connect the municipalities of Tlajomulco and Tlaquepaque and will link with other systems like Mi Macro Periférico and Mi Macro Calzada to Guadalajara.

The travel time between the 8 stations will be 35 minutes, at an average speed of 80 kilometers per hour.
