The Government of the State of Mexico launched the 'Housing for Well-being 2025' program. This initiative, promoted by the Mexiquense Institute of Social Housing (Imevis), aims to improve the living conditions of residents in the State of Mexico. To achieve this, support will be provided for the installation of solar panels and water tanks to families in vulnerable situations.

One key aspect in investing to improve a home is the bathroom, as it requires elements such as piping, tiles, heaters, and water tanks. The requirements to access this program include being over 18 years old, residing in any municipality in the State of Mexico, living in the home that is to be improved, and presenting documentation such as a birth certificate, official identification, proof of address, and CURP.

The process to participate in the program involves pre-registering on the Imevis Programs website from June 2 to 27. Subsequently, documents must be submitted at an Imevis module and complete the unique Well-Being form, the information control sheet, and a contract letter, following an alphabetical order based on the first surname.

On the other hand, President Claudia Sheinbaum presented the Comprehensive Plan for the East of the State of Mexico in Tlalnepantla. This plan includes an investment of more than 13.5 billion pesos for urban infrastructure, hydraulic, educational, mobility, ecological, security, and health projects in the 10 municipalities of the East of the Valley of Mexico during the current year, with a total projected investment of more than 40 billion pesos during her administration.

Sheinbaum emphasized that the purpose of this investment is to transform the situation of poverty and marginalization in the region where around 10 million inhabitants reside and transit daily. The program, called 'Love is paid with love', aims to change the reality of Tlalnepantla, Nezahualcóyotl, Chalco, Chicoloapan, Chimalhuacán, Ecatepec, Ixtapaluca, La Paz, Texcoco, and Valle de Chalco Solidaridad.
