Spanish golfer and DP World Tour winner Eugenio López-Chacarra has confirmed his participation in the Tulum Championship. This tournament will be held from April 16-19 at PGA Riviera Maya. The participation of such prominent players highlights the event's objective of promoting golf in the Caribbean region. The Tulum Championship will be played over 72 holes on the PGA Riviera Maya course, designed by Robert Trent Jones II, which is noted for its integration with cenotes, mangroves, and jungle. This event marks the conclusion of a five-tournament series in Latin America, solidifying its role as a key platform for future PGA TOUR members.

The renowned Spanish golfer Eugenio López-Chacarra has confirmed his participation in the Tulum Championship at PGA Riviera Maya, taking place from April 16-19 at the Tulum Country Club facilities. This venue has been awarded the title of Best Golf Course in Mexico for 2024 and 2025 by the World Golf Awards, being the only facility in the country affiliated with the PGA of America.

Importance in the Korn Ferry Tour Schedule. The competition features a purse of $1,000,000 and awards 500 points for the Korn Ferry Tour ranking. López-Chacarra, who reached the number two spot in the world amateur ranking and recently won the 2025 Hero Indian Open on the DP World Tour, is entering this competition via a sponsor exemption. López-Chacarra's addition reinforces the competitive level of the only Korn Ferry Tour stop in Mexican territory.

Emerging Talent and International Projections. Joining the Spanish golfer, the tournament field will also include 16-year-old Lunden Esterline, the current champion of the 2025 Boys’ Junior PGA Championship and a member of the U.S. Junior Ryder Cup team. The combination of experienced players and rising stars guarantees a high-level sporting spectacle in one of the most important natural settings in the Riviera Maya. Also joining is the 19-year-old Mallorcan talent Bruno Marques, who currently competes in NCAA Division II in the United States.
