Armando "G", alias "Máximo" or "Delta 1", criminal leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), was captured for the second time in four years. He is presumed to be the leader of hitmen for this organized crime group. The detention took place on Monday, October 28, by the National Guard in Zapopan.
The Attorney General's Office reported that Armando "G" was arrested along with his partner Mónica del Carmen. At the time of the detention, money, drugs, weapons, and cell phones were seized from them. Additionally, they are allegedly linked to the crime of money laundering through businesses such as beauty salons and real estate.
According to the information provided, Armando "G" is identified as the alleged mastermind behind the attack carried out on May 21, 2018, in the Americana neighborhood against Luis Carlos Nájera, former head of the Jalisco State Attorney General's Office, who survived the attack.
