The Coordinating Business Council, chaired by Francisco Cervantes, committed to offering 35,000 jobs to Mexicans who are deported by the government of President Donald Trump. Claudia Sheinbaum, President of Mexico, thanked this initiative that aims to guarantee the economic and social reintegration of those returning to the country.

In a statement, the CCE reaffirmed its commitment to collaborate with the Mexican government in facing migration challenges. Through investment in strategic sectors, the promotion of entrepreneurship, and workforce training, the private sector aims to contribute to generating stability and promoting sustained growth in the region, strengthening the social fabric.

In her statements, Sheinbaum highlighted the strength of the Mexican economy, responding to those who think otherwise. She assured that the country has reserves in the Bank of Mexico and is in a solid economic situation, despite international circumstances, such as the presidency of Donald Trump in the United States.

The president indicated that the 35,000 jobs offered by the CCE are available in sectors such as services and manufacturing, among others. This action is part of an effort to collaborate with the authorities in creating job opportunities for those returning to the country, thus contributing to their reintegration.

In light of the review of the Treaty between Mexico, the United States, and Canada (T-MEC), scheduled for 2026, Sheinbaum mentioned that her government is in contact with the Advisory Council for Regional Economic Development and Relocalization for the Mexico Plan, as well as with the Coordinating Business Council. She emphasized the importance of these alliances to face economic and labor challenges, also highlighting the 12% increase in wages.
