New Program 'You Can Guanajuato' Promotes SMEs

The Governor of Guanajuato, Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo, presented the financial institution and support program "You Can Guanajuato" with the aim of combating financial exclusion and promoting economic development. This initiative is aimed at micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (mipymes), as well as entrepreneurs and vulnerable sectors. During the event in the Main Square of Purísima del Rincón, the state leader highlighted that the financial institution seeks to support those who do not find backing in traditional banks.

The Governor expressed: "If a bank does not give you credit, here we do. We bet on the economic growth of Guanajuato through the people who work the hardest, which is you."

"You Can Guanajuato" has an initial fund of 400 million pesos, of which 375 million will be allocated to financing and 24.5 million to non-reimbursable economic supports. It is projected to reach 16,230 financings and 21,000 non-reimbursable supports by the end of the administration.

The financial institution has seven branches in different locations such as Celaya, Dolores Hidalgo, and Irapuato, among others. The program seeks to eliminate financial barriers through simplified procedures and competitive conditions, reflecting the principle of "Fewer windows, more citizenship".

These credits are designed to be accessible, with no complicated procedures or abusive interest rates, the Governor stated. Interested parties can obtain more information on the official page or by calling the provided phone number.

With amounts ranging from 10,000 pesos to 3 million pesos, and terms of up to 60 months, the credits offer competitive interest rates. For entrepreneurs in vulnerable conditions, the program also offers a unique support called "We Believe in You," with an amount of up to 7,000 pesos to start businesses.

This year, it is expected to benefit 2,705 economic units with financing and 3,500 people with non-reimbursable supports through this program.
