
The Iztapalapa mayor's office has implemented the program "Iztapa Las Jefas" with the purpose of providing support to women facing social vulnerability in this locality.
The program is aimed at heads of households between 35 and 56 years old who reside in Iztapalapa and are in a situation of extreme poverty. Beneficiaries will receive an annual financial support of $2,000 pesos, distributed in five bimonthly payments of 400 pesos each, during the year 2025.
To enroll in the program, interested women must meet certain requirements, such as being of the specified age, being the head of the household, presenting the required documentation, completing an application, and not being registered in other social programs. The enrollment process will be available from February 5 to March 29 of this year.
The delivery of financial support will be made in five bimonthly installments, which will take place in April, June, August, October, and December of 2025. The objective of this program is to contribute to increasing the income in the households of the beneficiaries, with the aim of reducing structural inequalities and poverty in the Iztapalapa region.
