During her morning conference, Sheinbaum mentioned her meeting with the CEO of the Spanish bank and anticipated that these are significant investments.
In her statements, Sheinbaum did not provide specific details about the planned actions, preferring that the bank presents them officially. However, she confirmed that the amount to be invested exceeds 2,000 million dollars, highlighting the confidence of the financial institution in the Mexican economy.
Ana Botín arrived in Mexico to announce the launch of Openbank, a digital subsidiary designed to promote the growth of the financial group in the Mexican market. She emphasized the importance of Mexico in Santander's client and business portfolio, underlining the positivity of the meeting with Sheinbaum.
