Sigma Foods Projects Sales of $9.7 Billion

Alfa company forecasted a 10 percent increase in sales from its subsidiary Sigma Alimentos for this year, reaching a total of nine billion 700 million dollars, despite a neutral currency effect assuming constant exchange rates.

According to Alfa, this revenue growth will be supported by solid volume expansion across all operating regions, with increases ranging from low single digits to medium. A 5 percent increase in operating cash flow is also expected, reaching one billion 100 million dollars compared to the previous year.

The company also reported that it plans to increase its capital expenditure by 43 percent compared to the previous year, allocating 350 million dollars to capacity expansion projects in Mexico and the United States to meet growing demand. About 50 percent of planned investments will be directed to strategic initiatives.

Alfa clarified that if the exchange rate were to be 21 Mexican pesos per US dollar in 2025, Sigma's revenues would be affected and are expected to reach nine billion dollars, while operating cash flow would decrease to 1,000 million dollars.

Gerardo Cevallos, deputy director of fundamental analysis at Vector, noted that with an exchange rate of 21 pesos per dollar, Sigma's revenues would increase by 2.2 percent, while operating cash flow would decrease by 4.4 percent.
