
Apple has announced the release of the new iPhone 16e, a device that promises longer battery life and a high-quality camera. The phone includes the Crash Detection feature to request help in emergencies.
The iPhone 16e features an improved battery that offers up to 26 hours of video playback, thanks to the energy efficiency of Apple's A18 chip, iOS18, and the C1 chip. Regarding the camera, it has a redesigned 48 MP Fusion camera that combines the capabilities of two cameras into one, offering high-quality optical zoom.
Apple has announced the prices for the iPhone 16e in Mexico, starting from 14,999 Mexican pesos for the 128 GB version, 17,499 Mexican pesos for the 256 GB version, and 22,499 Mexican pesos for the 512 GB version. Pre-orders in Mexico will start on February 21, and general sales will be on February 28.
The iPhone 16e will be available in white and black colors, featuring a aerospace-grade aluminum structure that provides durability, and a front with Ceramic Shield for added protection. Additionally, it includes advanced features like Face ID for secure unlocking, improved communication with Siri, and 5G connectivity.
The iPhone 16e incorporates USB-C and will be ready to take advantage of Apple Intelligence, a personal intelligence system that facilitates numerous tasks. Starting in April, new features such as removing unwanted elements in photos, creating custom emojis, and enhancing writing will be available, among others.
