The first beneficiaries of the Rita Cetina Scholarship are about to receive their first payment through the Wellbeing cards. Julio León, national coordinator of the Benito Juárez Wellbeing Scholarships, revealed that the first payment of this scholarship, aimed at basic education students, is scheduled to be delivered in March.
In the initial phase, the Rita Cetina Scholarship will provide financial support to the parents or guardians of public secondary school students in Mexico, with a bimonthly payment of 1,900 pesos. Parents and guardians are advised to stay informed about the dates and registration processes through official announcements.
The distribution of cards for this scholarship will take place in public secondary schools across the country and will extend until March 28, 2025. Parents can check the Benito Juárez Scholarships School Finder for information on when and where to obtain the Wellbeing card.
To receive the card, parents or guardians must present the following documentation: birth certificate, CURP, and a valid proof of studies for the student, as well as a valid official identification, CURP, and a proof of address no older than three months from the father, mother, or guardian. If unable to attend on the indicated date, the delivery can be rescheduled by going to the nearest State Representation Auxiliary Headquarters.
On another note, the SEP reported that more than 4 million 896 thousand students registered to receive the Rita Cetina Scholarship aimed at secondary education. However, it has not yet been announced when registration will begin for primary and preschool students.
