In 2024, Grupo Lamosa reported revenues of 33 billion 945 million pesos (mdp), representing an annual increase of 8%. Despite a challenging environment characterized by a slowdown and low growth in the construction sector, both in Mexico and in other countries where it operates, the company managed to maintain growth.
In the fourth quarter of the year, Grupo Lamosa, a Monterrey-based company specialized in construction products such as adhesives and ceramic coatings, achieved sales of 8 billion 743 mdp, a 13% increase compared to the previous year. Nationally, sales reached 19 billion 553 mdp at the end of the fourth quarter, a slight decrease of 1% compared to 2023.
On the other hand, foreign sales during 2024 amounted to 14 billion 392 mdp, showing an annual growth of 21%. This increase is mainly attributed to the incorporation of Baldocer's operations throughout the year. Grupo Lamosa's consolidated net debt at the end of 2024 was 16 billion 724 mdp, with a net debt to EBITDA ratio of 2.7 times.
"During the year, Grupo Lamosa continued to implement its investment plan to support growth and optimize production processes. It also focused on the adoption of new information technologies to improve various business processes," commented a company representative.
