The director of Toll Roads, Norma Layón Aarun, emphasized that in the lane designated for Line 4 of the Ecological Periphery, private vehicles can circulate as long as they maintain a maximum speed of 50 km/h. The corresponding signage has been recently installed to inform drivers about this measure.

Regarding toll collection from users, Layón Aarun mentioned that due to the ongoing works in the area and some stations lacking electrical power, there are no conditions to begin charging. During a supervision tour, she stated that the company responsible for the fiber optic connections is working on the machines' control panels, but out of the nine elevators planned, only two are operational.

According to Layón Aarun, five more elevators are in the testing phase and two have not yet been installed, corresponding to the stops of Atlixco B and Cholula B. Due to the lack of electrical power at these stations, toll collection cannot begin until all construction works are completed.

Governor Alejandro Armenta Mier has instructed the head of the agency to engage in dialogue with the responsible company to request the installation of security cameras in the area to ensure the protection of the infrastructure and the safety of transport users. The director emphasized that the lane of the Urban Articulated Transport Network (RUTA) is preferred but not exclusive, also allowing the circulation of private vehicles.
