New payment schedule for the Women’s Welfare Pension

The Secretariat of Welfare announced the payment schedule for the Women’s Pension corresponding to the March-April two-month period during the morning conference on March 3rd. Ariadna Montiel, head of the agency, revealed that deposits will be made following the same scheme as the Pension Welfare for Seniors, classified by the initial letter of the last name.

Payments will begin on March 3rd for people whose last names start with A and B, continuing in the following days with the rest of the letters of the alphabet. Once the deposits are received, beneficiaries can withdraw the money from the card or use it for purchases.

The Women’s Pension Welfare, a new support program promoted by President Claudia Sheinbaum, amounts to 3,000 pesos bi-monthly. In this initial stage, it is granted to women aged 63 and 64, and will later be extended to those aged 60 and 61. The requirements to register include being between 60 and 64 years old, being of Mexican nationality, and paying attention to the registration call.

Once registered, one must wait for the notification to collect the card at the Bank of Welfare, which will be received via text message. It is important to keep checking the cellphone to know the date, time, and place to collect the card.
