Secondary school students benefiting from the Rita Cetina Scholarship 2025 will receive the payment for March this month. Those who did not receive the deposit in January due to not having the Welfare Card will receive a double payment. In total, the accumulation will be three thousand 800 pesos, thus covering the first two bimonths of the year.
The government of Mexico, through the Rita Cetina Scholarship portal, indicated that the scholarship payment, usually one thousand 900 pesos every two months, is made exclusively through the Welfare Card. Beneficiaries were reminded of the importance of having the card to receive the deposit and how to request it in the modules enabled by the Secretariat of Welfare, following the established dates and requirements.
The necessary documents for the procedure include the student's birth certificate, CURP, identification of the mother, father or guardian, and a recent proof of address, not older than three months. Some states have begun the disbursement of resources, although the card delivery process is still ongoing and not all deposits have been made.
According to official sources, the first states to receive the deposits include Chiapas, State of Mexico, Jalisco, Michoacán, Oaxaca, Sonora, Veracruz, among others. Transfers will continue throughout the month, with payments scheduled to be completed by March 28. Students who have not yet received support should remain attentive to official announcements from the Secretariat of Public Education (SEP) and the Benito Juárez Scholarships for Well-Being program.
To verify the deposit, the balance on the Welfare Card can be checked at an automatic teller machine of the Welfare Bank, in the bank's mobile application, or by visiting a branch. The Secretariat of Welfare assured that the adjustment of payments aims to regularize the delivery of benefits for those who did not access the scholarship at the beginning of the year, thus guaranteeing the necessary support to continue their studies.
