
The governor of Aguascalientes, Tere Jiménez, announced the 2025 edition of the Power Woman and Equality Program during an event held at the Ficotrece facilities. This program provides support to women entrepreneurs and other projects to promote their consolidation and contribute to family economy.
Jiménez expressed her commitment to women and entrepreneurs, highlighting that they demonstrate day by day that with work, effort, and dedication, dreams can come true. Furthermore, she acknowledged the important contribution of micro, small, and medium enterprises to the state economy and reiterated her support for this sector, announcing an increase in the budget allocated to programs that benefit more people and strengthen small businesses.
For his part, Esaú Garza de Vega, head of the Secretariat of Economic Development, Science and Technology (Sedecyt), explained that the objective of the program is to promote self-employment by providing the population with tools to develop productive projects that boost the state economy. Beneficiaries will receive machinery, equipment, specialized support, and training to ensure the success of their micro businesses.
Additionally, during the event, María del Carmen de Luna Hernández shared her experience as a beneficiary of the Power Woman and Equality Program, thanking Governor Jiménez for promoting such initiatives. She also emphasized the importance of working to achieve results, stressing the significance of personal effort and daily commitment.
Senator Antonio Martín del Campo, Federal Deputy Paulo Martínez López, municipal authorities, and representatives from various organizations were also present at the event. The Power Woman and Equality Program aims to provide opportunities for women entrepreneurs and strengthen the economic fabric of the state through support for small businesses and startups.
