The Pension for Well-being continues with the disbursement of its economic support for elderly people this week. This is the second deposit of the year, corresponding to the March-April bimonthly period, with an amount of 6,200 pesos. For this year, the government of President Claudia Sheinbaum announced an increase of 200 pesos, representing a 3.3 percent increase compared to the amount beneficiaries received in 2024, totaling between 4,800 and 6,000 pesos bimonthly.

The Pensions for Well-being cover 12 million 393 thousand 658 elderly individuals and 1 million 395 thousand 40 people with disabilities. According to the calendar published by the Secretariat of Well-being, this week those whose last name starts with the following letters will receive the deposit in their cards: - Monday, March 10, and Tuesday, March 11: Last names starting with G. - Wednesday, March 12: Last names H, I, J, and K. - Thursday, March 13: Last names starting with L. - Friday, March 14: Last names starting with M.

Every two months, registration opens for the Pension for Well-being. The registration window closed on Friday, February 28, so the next period to include new beneficiaries will open in April. To register, if you are already 65 years old, you must go to one of the agency's modules with the following documents: current official identification, recently printed CURP, legible birth certificate, proof of residence not older than 6 months (phone, electricity, gas, water, or property tax), and a contact telephone number (cell phone and home phone). If you want to register an auxiliary person who can represent you in the procedures, you will need to bring the same documents for that person.
