Youth Building the Future: New Registration

The program Young People Building the Future announced the opening of a new registration period starting April 1st. This program, part of the Well-being initiatives of the government of former president Andrés Manuel López Obrador and currently under the administration of president Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, aims to provide work experience to young people between 18 and 29 years old who are currently unemployed and without education.

In 2025, Young People Building the Future offers a monthly financial aid of 8,480 pesos, as well as medical coverage from IMSS. The requirements to participate include residing in Mexico, being of the required age, not studying or working, having proof of residence, official identification, and CURP.

To register for the program, interested individuals must access the official page and complete the form to obtain a username and password. They will then need to upload the required documents and select a Work Center according to their interests. Subsequently, an interview will be conducted for the application approval.

In case of difficulties with online registration, young people can go to any of the more than 4,300 mobile offices located in priority areas of the country. Once the application is approved, participants will be assigned to a work center of their choice for a period of up to 12 months.
