The musician Edén Muñoz, known for his work with Christian Nodal and Banda MS, revealed in a recent interview that before fully dedicating himself to music, he used to make money by hacking people's email accounts to discover infidelities. According to his statements, each hacked account earned him 500 pesos, a fee set by his sister, who inspired him to delve into this activity.
"I ventured into it about 6 times, each time it got more difficult," Edén Muñoz shared, mentioning that after helping six people uncover deceptions, he decided to retire from this 'career' as a hacker with a hint of humor by saying he could have been responsible for "6 broken relationships for a venture." Although he did not specify the reasons behind his retirement, his passion for music from a young age may have been determinant.
Edén Muñoz started his hacking journey by seeing his sister distressed over relationship problems and offered his help by revealing that he knew how to hack email accounts. His previous experience with programming in high school gave him the necessary knowledge to access his sister's ex-boyfriend's account, especially interested in obtaining a password from the old social network Metroflog.
Despite having started by altruistically helping his sister, Edén Muñoz confirmed that he charged 500 pesos for his services, considering the value of the information at that time. After this personal experience, he continued perfecting his skills in an internet café where he worked, learning from other hackers and consulting specialized forums.
Having left behind his hacker side, Edén Muñoz has established himself as a prominent figure in regional Mexican music, standing out as a singer and producer in the music industry. Despite having a peculiar start in the world of technology, his focus and passion for music have led him to achieve the success he enjoys today.
