The Secretariat of Welfare announced that the payment for the May-June bimonthly Pension Program will start on Wednesday, May 7, and end on May 30. This delay was due to the holidays on May 1 and 5.
The head of the agency, Ariadna Montiel, informed from National Palace that more than 12.7 million senior citizens, one million women, and 1.3 million people with disabilities will receive their deposit in May, following a schedule based on the initial letter of the first surname.
The amounts for the pension programs are as follows: 6,200 pesos for the Pension for Senior Citizens, 3,200 pesos for the Pension for Persons with Disabilities, and 3,000 pesos for the Women's Welfare Pension. The Support for Children of Working Mothers ranges from 1,650 to 3,720 pesos. Additionally, on May 15, the monthly deposit for the Sembrando Vida program will be made, amounting to 6,450 pesos.
The Secretariat of Welfare recommended that beneficiaries check the official payment calendar to know the exact date they will receive the funds.
