Grupo Financiero Banorte's strategy to support greater access to credit includes specific measures to back small and medium enterprises led by women. In this context, the financial institution has reduced the financing rate for the Mujer PyME product, which encompasses all micro, small, and medium enterprises.
Among the advantages of the Mujer PyME product are a bank account with no minimum opening balance, preferential opening commission, credits of up to two million pesos without the need for real estate guarantees, payroll disbursement at no cost, point of sale terminals with no affiliation fee and no minimum billing, among other benefits.
The goal of the Mexico Plan, under which these initiatives are being implemented, is to ensure that 30% of SMEs have access to financing by 2030. This implies an annual growth of 3.5% in access to credit for smaller businesses, a segment that makes up more than 98% of the country's productive units.
In the words of Carlos Hank González, chairman of the board of Grupo Financiero Banorte, the institution supports President Claudia Sheinbaum's vision to promote the growth of SMEs and takes pride in supporting small and medium enterprises led by women, thus contributing to the development of Mexico.
