The company Provenir, under the leadership of Mauricio González, is carrying out the migration to its platform for leading banks in the region, as highlighted by José Vargas, General Manager of Ibero-America at Provenir.
This transformation is driven by various key factors, such as the growing digital banking accessibility, high mobile penetration, demand for personalized services, and the rise of fintech. Despite this, many institutions face technological, operational, and regulatory barriers that hinder their growth.
According to a study by Boston Consulting Group (BCG), significant growth is projected for the digital financial sector in Latin America, with the possibility of multiplying its revenues by 12.5 times by 2030, with a compound annual growth rate of 29%. Brazil and Mexico stand out as the main drivers of this transformation in the region.
In this context of rapid digitalization, Provenir, specialized in decision-making platforms based on artificial intelligence (AI), has appointed Mauricio González as Head of Spanish LATAM and Country Manager for Mexico.
Provenir's strategy focuses on technological solutions that enable banks, fintechs, and financial service providers to adapt to an increasingly challenging environment, characterized by more digital customers, increased operational risks, and regulatory pressures. Mauricio González stated: "Latin America has enormous growth potential. My commitment is to drive more agile decision-making models, expand financial access, and generate sustainable impact."
Provenir offers a modular artificial intelligence platform with tools specifically designed for the regional financial system, such as advanced risk assessment, frictionless digital onboarding, real-time data analysis, multichannel fraud prevention, segmented and predictive collections, and adaptive regional models adjustable to local legal and economic frameworks. The company’s focus is on the digitization of risk decisions and replacing legacy systems in Latin America.
