Mexico is experiencing ongoing road blockades organized by agricultural workers. The National Union of Agricultural Workers has maintained road blockades for three days, demanding that the federal government address their petitions, such as guaranteeing the price per ton of corn. The Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (SICT) reported on the current disruptions on highways, roads, and toll plazas due to these mobilizations. In Guanajuato, Highway 45D Salamanca-Celaya is completely closed. In Michoacán, Highway 15D Maravatío – Zapotlanejo has slow traffic with an estimated 914 vehicles held up in both directions. In Hidalgo, the blockage on the Northern Arc (Arco Norte) continues in both directions, as well as at km 80 (Tula 1) and km 195 (Sanctórum).
