The Mexican government has announced the opening of registration for the 'Beca Rita Cetina' scholarship for elementary school students. This initiative is part of the federal government's educational policy to guarantee support for students from primary to higher education, as per the constitutional mandate. Students from public elementary schools can now apply for this benefit. Registration is open from March 4th and will close on March 19th. This social program, created by President Claudia Sheinbaum, will provide an annual payment of 2,500 pesos per student. The funds are intended to support families with the purchase of school supplies and uniforms. The scholarship is universal and will be granted to all students enrolled in public elementary schools. The application process is completely free and is done online through the website www.becaritacetina.gob.mx. The federal government clarified that families who already receive the 'Beca Benito Juárez' do not need to register for this new one. To apply, you must have a 'Llave MX' account. If you don't have one, you can create it by entering your CURP as a parent or guardian. Once your account is set up, go to the becaritacetina.gob.mx portal and click 'Log in with Llave MX'. Your information will be automatically filled in. You will then need to upload an official ID, enter your home address details, and upload a proof of address document. After reading and accepting the privacy notice, click 'Save registration'. After registering as a parent or guardian, you can proceed to register each of your children in elementary school. Click 'Register a student', enter your child's CURP, and click 'Validate CURP'. If the CURP is correct, the details will be filled in automatically. Next, you must enter the School Code (CCT) of the school. Click 'Search CCT'. If the school appears on the list, fill in: School level, Shift, Grade, and Relationship to the student. Read and accept the manifesto, then click 'Save and continue'. Review that all the information is correct. If everything is in order, click 'Accept'. If you need to register another student, click 'Back to start'; otherwise, download your proof of registration.
