The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) has made significant progress in the quality of its programs by increasing the number of disciplines ranked among the top 100 globally from 31 to 36, and from 10 to 12 among the top 50 in the world. This result is supported by its academic reputation, employer reputation, citations from academic publications, and international research network, as considered by the QS World University Rankings. UNAM's performance is outstanding in the area of Arts and Humanities, ranking 20th in the world, as well as 41st in Social Sciences & Management. "The results also include prominent positions in the field of Engineering & Technology, which ranks 69th; as well as Life Sciences & Medicine, where it entered the Top 100," the leading institution specified. What are UNAM's best programs? UNAM's quality is specifically manifested in programs such as Anthropology, Development Studies, and Languages, all ranked 17th; followed by Art History at 20th, Petroleum Engineering at 26th, and Mining & Mineral Engineering at 49th.
