Libia Dennise García, governor of Guanajuato, announced through her social media the expansion of the "Pink Card" program. It will increase from 560,000 to 690,000 women beneficiaries in the entity, representing a significant increase in the coverage of one of the most visible social support programs of her administration.
“Every day, more and more women are supporting each other… this support truly makes a difference in every home,” the governor posted, highlighting the program's growth, which focuses on strengthening the family economy and expanding access to basic services.
The "Pink Card" program provides an annual economic support of 6,000 pesos, distributed in two payments of 3,000 pesos throughout the year.
However, its scope is not limited to the direct income, as it also incorporates additional services such as home medical care, dental and nutritional assistance, an ambulance in case of emergency, legal advice, and home support.
The program is mainly aimed at women between 25 and 45 years old, particularly mothers, who can register through the program's official application.
The governor reminded that the ordinary registration period closes on March 31, so she called for completing the process with documents such as official identification, proof of address, and birth certificates of children.
For those who are unable to register in this stage, the state government provides a second chance in July, when an extraordinary registration period will open.
Subsequently, in August, an additional card delivery will take place for new beneficiaries.
According to the program's calendar, the card delivery will be carried out between April and May, while the first disbursement of economic support is scheduled for the month of June.
