Mexico to Help Passengers of Canceled Magnicharters Flights

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum announced a plan to assist passengers affected by the cancellation of Magnicharters flights. She stated that the authorities will investigate the reasons for this decision. 'The corresponding authorities will review why this was done,' highlighted Sheinbaum Pardo. Magnicharters, a Mexican airline founded in 1984, has suspended all its operations for two weeks due to logistical issues. This affects passengers traveling on routes to Cancun, Merida, and Huatulco. In response, the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (SICT), through the Federal Civil Aviation Agency (AFAC), has outlined a plan to assist travelers. Passengers at Cancun, Merida, and Huatulco airports can approach the counters of Aeroméxico, Viva Aerobus, and Volaris for possible support. 'We are even looking into partnering with Mexicana to help these passengers get flights to return to their places of origin,' the president said.
