Facilitate Access to Infonavit Loans

Infonavit has simplified the process to obtain a housing loan. You only need to prequalify and meet certain requirements related to your salary and employment history to access a loan.

Facilitate Access to Infonavit Loans

The National Housing Fund Institute for Workers (Infonavit) has shared that obtaining a loan for home acquisition is simpler than one might think. Only two very simple requirements are needed: obtaining prequalification and checking if one has the necessary score. Through these mechanisms, it is possible to know how much financing would be available and the monthly payment to be made.

According to Infonavit, prequalification and the assigned points depend on factors such as salary, age, savings in the Housing Subaccount, the length of contributions to the Institute, among other aspects related to the company where one works. To access a home acquisition loan, a minimum of 1,080 points is required.

Prequalification considers data such as age, comprehensive daily salary, savings in the Housing Subaccount, continuous contribution months at work, and whether the worker is permanent or temporary. Regarding the company, compliance with employer contributions, job stability of employees, and the company's context are evaluated.

For female workers, the Institute offers a bonus of 20 additional points that can help reach the required minimum score more quickly. It is important to highlight that the 1,080 points mentioned specifically apply to loans aimed at home purchase or paying off debts with a bank through the Infonavit ConstruYO loan.

It is necessary to mention that different scores and requirements are requested for other types of financing. In the loan application, details about the process and the necessary documents can be obtained.
