Arca Continental (AC) has presented its new corporate entrepreneurship strategy through its Venture Capital fund, AC Ventures. This initiative focuses on addressing high-impact challenges within the organization, through five investment verticals aligned with the company's priorities. The main objective is to invest in ventures that benefit the countries in which AC operates.
AC Ventures is shaped as an investment fund designed to foster innovation within AC. It aims to collaborate with high-potential and scalable entrepreneurs, focusing on generating shared value for the communities where AC operates. The idea is to connect business needs and the value chain with the entrepreneurial ecosystem to develop and adopt emerging technologies.
During the presentation of AC Ventures at the panel "VIP Investor Breakfast: The Future of Mom and Pop Stores" organized by AC, attendees were informed that the fund's thesis focuses on five key areas. These are: the digital transformation of the commercial ecosystem, the evolution of the proximity channel, the contribution to developing a sustainable model, the transformation of the supply chain, and the evolution of recruitment, training, and talent retention processes.
In the words of Daniel RodrÃguez Siller, director of AC Ventures, "Each of these areas reflects AC's vision to integrate innovation, efficiency, and sustainability into all its operations. AC Ventures seeks to invest in disruptive solutions and transform the way the company supports entrepreneurs, promoting agility, collaboration, and co-creation of business cases that strengthen the sustainable business model we drive."
