Governor Samuel García confirmed this information through a video in which he thanks Rivas for leaving Nuevo León as the leader in all economic indicators.

"Today, 2024, three years of government, first place in business creation, first place in job creation, first place in foreign direct investment, first place in innovation, and I could go on,” the governor expressed.

In his place, the state governor appointed Emmanuel Loo, the Undersecretary of Investment, as the head of the Secretary of Economy.

Rivas highlighted the trips made abroad to promote the competitive advantages of Nuevo León, which allowed the arrival of high-tech and sustainable companies, as well as foreign direct investment of more than 68 billion dollars and more than 220,000 jobs created.

"That is what SMEs seek, financing and also helping them to be more competitive and productive,” Rivas expressed, referring to the support provided to small and medium-sized enterprises with more than 12 billion pesos in credits through the Nuevo Impulso Nuevo León program.

On the other hand, García added that Nuevo León is now a reference not only at the national level but throughout Latin America, thanks to the work done during these three years. He emphasized the importance of new investments and the effort of the team from the Secretary of Economy to achieve the economic success of the region.
