
According to the allocation of funds to each political party, this is based on the number of votes obtained in the last election. The distribution of funds is as follows: Morena will receive approximately 35% of the total, equivalent to 2 billion 658 million 946 thousand pesos; the National Action Party (PAN) will obtain 1 billion 331 million 120 thousand pesos; the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) will receive 1 billion 13 thousand pesos; Citizens' Movement will reach 1 billion 56 thousand pesos; the Green Party will obtain 838 million 97 thousand pesos; and the Labor Party will receive 703 million 726 thousand pesos.
Regarding the use of these funds, the political parties will allocate them to carry out ordinary and specific activities, including education, training, socioeconomic and political research, editorial tasks, and the promotion of women's political leadership. Morena will receive the largest share of the allocation, a total of 2 billion 584 million 356 thousand 877 pesos, being the most voted party in the elections held on June 2.
During an extraordinary session, the electoral councilors explained that the resources will be distributed in various categories, such as Permanent Ordinary Activities, Specific Activities, Postal Franchise, and Telegraph Franchise. The General Council of the National Electoral Institute (INE) has approved public financing of 7 billion 354 million 266 thousand pesos for political parties in 2025.
