New Registration for the Rita Cetina Scholarship in CDMX

Mario Delgado, head of the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), has announced that the registration for the Rita Cetina scholarship is expected to be completed before the end of the year, so that the first deposits can be made in January 2025. Registration for this program opened on Monday, November 11, and will be available until December 18.

The Rita Cetina scholarship will be a universal support aimed at all basic education students, starting with secondary school students. The expected amount is 1,900 pesos bi-monthly per student, with an additional 700 pesos for each family member enrolled in the program. The requirements for registration include the submission in PDF format of documents such as the official identification of the parent or guardian, proof of address, and the CURP of the student to be registered.

Despite the registration opening on Monday, November 11, some users have reported issues when trying to complete the process through the official scholarship page, where the message "503 service unavailable" appeared and the button to start registration was not activated. In light of these difficulties, the SEP has made a phone number (5511 620300) available to resolve questions and report problems with registration.

It is essential to highlight that the period to complete the registration process for the Rita Cetina scholarship ends on December 18, but it is recommended to start as soon as possible to ensure participation in this educational support program.
