During the Buen Fin 2024, the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco) has provided advice to 258 consumers who have requested information about their rights. The commercial event takes place from November 15 to 18, and Profeco is active in mediating and guiding affected consumers.
According to Profeco, monitoring and oversight actions are being carried out on prices, promotions, and offers in commercial establishments during this period. The verifications are based on complaints filed prior to Buen Fin, and it is necessary to present the corresponding documentation to carry out the verifications.
So far, two favorable conciliations for consumers have been made. Profeco continues to address inquiries and provide the necessary information to those seeking advice on their rights and the procedures to be carried out at the institution, as well as to guide in addressing issues with other authorities.
