UAM Opens Call for Selection 2025

The Autonomous Metropolitan University (UAM) has launched its call for the first selection process 2025, aimed at those wishing to enroll in any of its 84 undergraduate programs in the units of Azcapotzalco, Cuajimalpa, Iztapalapa, Lerma, and Xochimilco. The registration of applications will be open from February 6 to 18, 2025, and must be done online through the UAM Admissions portal. As part of the process, applicants can take a trial exam on March 8 and 9, which will allow them to familiarize themselves with the platform and verify that they meet the technical requirements.

The selection exam will take place from March 12 to 17, so candidates must have a computer with an internet connection, a smartphone with a camera and microphone, the Zoom application installed, and an appropriate space for the evaluation. The results will be published on April 12 on the official UAM website. Additionally, candidates who are not selected in the first list can consult the supplementary list on May 10. Those selected can enroll in the 25-Spring trimester, which starts on May 26, or 25-Fall, starting October 1, according to the calendar approved by the Academic College.

UAM offers a total of 84 undergraduate programs, 64 master's degrees, 42 doctorates, and 13 specialties. Furthermore, 83% of its graduate programs are recognized by the National Council of Humanities, Sciences, and Technologies (now the Secretariat of Science, Humanities, Technology, and Innovation). The institution has an academic staff of four thousand 347 members, of which 63% have doctoral degrees; additionally, 1,268 are members of the National System of Researchers (SNII), which positions UAM with the highest proportion of its faculty in this program.

For more information, interested parties can visit the official UAM site and consult the complete call.
