The company Ocesa has announced that the cashless wristband system will continue to be used as a payment method at its festivals and mass events, including Vive Latino 2025 and other events it organizes. In collaboration with the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco), it has been agreed that no fees will be applied for loading, reloading, remaining balance, or refunds on these wristbands.

In statements made through a press release, Ocesa highlighted the benefits that this payment system provides to attendees of mass events. The decision to maintain the cashless system without additional costs aims primarily to enhance the experience for fans, allowing them to fully enjoy the event.

During the recent edition of the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), the cashless wristband system was successfully implemented. Those attendees with a remaining balance pending recovery can request their refund. This process will be available for users who require it.

Looking ahead to Vive Latino 2025, which will take place in March, participants will have the option to reload their wristbands online at no additional cost before the event. Any remaining balance will be refunded without charges through an interbank transfer after the festival has concluded, provided the corresponding refund is requested.

Additionally, there will be the option to recharge the balance of the wristbands in cash or by card within the festival grounds, ensuring a comfortable and quick reloading experience for all attendees.
