The Copa Irma González was born in 2023 as an annual tribute to Irma González, a significant figure in the history of wrestling. Recognized at the Tribute to Two Legends event, Irma González received this honor alongside Salvador Lutteroth González. Since then, CMLL has kept her memory alive through this prestigious tournament.
In previous editions, Princesa Sugehit was crowned the first champion of the Copa Irma González, followed by Marcela in the second edition. This time, eight talented wrestlers will compete for the Copa Irma González 2025, ensuring a night full of adrenaline and emotions for all attendees.
