On the occasion of International Women's Day, President Claudia Sheinbaum announced the National Employment Fair for Women, which will take place throughout March. The event aims to advocate for the defense of women's rights and their participation in public life. In this context, the president highlighted the importance of the transformation movement and acknowledged the struggle of all the women who have allowed her to reach the presidency.

The National Employment Fair for Women, organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS), will have 68 events nationwide in which more than 2,000 companies will participate, offering more than 30,000 job options for women of all ages. According to the head of the department, Marath Baruch Bolaños, the strategy aims not only to benefit the labor incorporation of young women but also to sensitize employers to consider hiring job-seeking women between the ages of 40 and 59.

It is estimated that more than 31,000 women in search of work will attend the event, where they will be able to participate in over 340 workshops aimed at job seekers. Additionally, more than 50 workshops focused on employers will be offered.
