Shakira's Tour Faces Challenges Before Concerts in Mexico

The singer Shakira is immersed in her world tour 'Women Don’t Cry World Tour,' which has been both a success and a challenge for her. The upcoming concerts in Mexico are scheduled as follows: Monterrey on March 12 and 13 at Estadio BBVA, Guadalajara from March 19 to 30 at Estadio GNP Seguros, and in Mexico City on March 16 and 17 at Estadio Akron.

Shakira's fans in Mexico are eager to enjoy her performances, expressing their connection with the artist and providing support amid the setbacks she has faced during the tour. In Monterrey, fans are organizing a Fan Action to create the largest flag of Colombia in her honor, as this city is the first stop of her concerts in Mexico.

Since the tour began in Rio de Janeiro on February 11, 2025, Shakira has traveled through Latin America with an impressive production. However, the singer has had to deal with various health and logistical issues that have resulted in the cancellation or rescheduling of some concerts.

In Lima, Peru, she was hospitalized due to an abdominal condition, which led to the cancellation of her performance. In Medellín, Colombia, the concert was canceled due to structural problems in the stage setup, and in Santiago, Chile, two concerts were canceled due to issues with ground stabilization.

In light of these setbacks, Shakira's followers have shown their concern and support through prayer chains on social media, wishing for the singer to recover soon and successfully continue her tour.
