In the last week of the month, evaluation reports are delivered to the parents. The week culminates with a day off for students on Friday, March 28, dedicated to the ordinary session of the School Technical Council.

The reason there will be no classes on Monday, March 17, is the Anniversary of the Birth of Benito Juárez, which is celebrated every March 21 but has been decided to be moved to the beginning of the week. This is also due to the Federal Labor Law establishing a mandatory day off in March for this commemoration.

According to this law, workers are not obligated to provide services on their days off, and if they do, the employer must pay them double their salary. For workers, the third Monday in March is considered a mandatory day off.

The Calendar of the Ministry of Public Education indicates that basic education students will have a break in March, fulfilling the constitutional mandate for schools in the country. A break is expected for students in mid-March, giving them three days off starting from Saturday the 15th.

Friday, March 21, is reserved for the registration of grades by teachers and educational leaders. Below, the days on which classes will be suspended and the reasons for the break are detailed.

The 2024-2025 School Calendar of the SEP establishes the days of class suspension, holidays, and administrative activities for preschool, primary, and secondary education.
