The telenovela Rubí marked a milestone in the history of Mexican television, thanks to the success achieved. Bárbara Mori stood out in this production, gaining recognition and deciding to step away from melodramas after the overwhelming impact of the story produced by José Alberto Castro. In 2020, a new version was carried out featuring Camila Sodi. Although most of the actors who participated in the original version remain active in the industry, some interpreters of secondary characters have chosen to distance themselves from the screen, and in one more dramatic case, even faced serious challenges.
One of these actors is Miguel Pizarro, who in January 2004 attempted to take his own life. After that unfortunate episode, the actor stayed away from telenovelas. However, he was recently seen outside Televisa's facilities and expressed his excitement about returning to the TV studio. In a brief interview with reporter Eden Dorantes, Miguel mentioned that it is very likely he will work again at Televisa, sharing his feelings about returning to this place he considers his professional home. He showed enthusiasm for the possibility of being back at the TV network, highlighting its importance to him.
"I think we are going to return but we will see," Pizarro expressed about his comeback. His excitement about being back at Televisa was evident in his words, mentioning that the feeling of returning home after a long time is truly spectacular. Miguel Pizarro is thus preparing to resume his career in telenovelas, demonstrating that he is willing to return to the screen with renewed energy and enthusiasm.
