This Monday, May 5, the Collective Transportation System (STC) Metro of Mexico City experienced some difficulties on several lines. Users reported irregular situations on Lines 9, B, and 3, causing delays and high traffic at some stations.
The lines that are clear or have moderate traffic are 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, A, and 12, with a waiting time of approximately 5 minutes. However, for those using Lines 9, B, and 3, a wait of up to 10 minutes is expected to board a train.
There have been reports of significant delays on Line 9 since April 28, with delays of up to 10 minutes. In light of this situation, Metro CDMX has asked users to cooperate in allowing the free closing of doors and to exit the carriage before entering to speed up train progress.
Regarding Line B, delays have also been reported in the circulation and departure of trains heading to Buenavista. Metro CDMX has assured that they are working to expedite these processes on both lines to improve service.
Users on social media have expressed their concern about delays on Line 3, which has had delays of more than 15 minutes since April 30. The influx of passengers at these stations has contributed to the setbacks, being another point needing improvement by the authorities responsible for public transport.
To avoid inconveniences, users are recommended to consider alternative transportation if they plan to use Lines 9, B, and 3 of the Metro in Mexico City on this day.
