The government of Nuevo León, in collaboration with the private sector, is actively preparing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Through the 'Ponte Nuevo, Ponte Mundial' initiative, 31 companies have joined the project, bringing total investments to over 63 million Mexican pesos. Governor Samuel García emphasized that the state is a national role model, ranking first in 43 out of 50 key indicators.

"From Fundidora, what I want to highlight is that Nuevo León is a benchmark and a model. We are showing that the government together with the private sector puts the state first in 43 out of 50 indicators. We live with great passion, but the World Cup will end, there will be a champion, and Ponte Nuevo will continue," stated the governor.

"Ponte Nuevo is the beautiful side, it is the visible effort, but behind it there is an effort so that offices give transparency to resources, a government team to analyze what companies are doing well," he added.

Garcia noted that the successful collaboration between the executive branch and businesses keeps the state at the forefront. Additionally, the state government is advancing more than 35 major infrastructure projects scheduled for completion before the tournament begins.

"I am glad to see new companies, the team keeps growing... The 2026 World Cup represents a historic opportunity that depends on what we all do today. Here we are not fighting, we will never put a barrier between the private sector and the Government. I want to thank these 31 companies that, in addition to providing jobs and paying taxes, contribute voluntarily to fulfill my dream that we can show the best version of Nuevo León at the World Cup. I have no doubt that it will be the best venue, not only in the country, but in the entire World Cup," the official remarked.

The head of AMAR in Nuevo León, Mariana Rodríguez, expressed her gratitude to the newly joined companies. "I am happy to announce that the team is growing again. When there is an exciting project and a common goal, an objective is achieved," she pointed out.

Among the major investors is Uber, which will contribute 25 million pesos in kind to support local businesses through 'Uber Eats' and integrate its application with the C5 and 911 emergency systems to enhance security. The Club Tigres is investing 11.7 million pesos in sports and educational programs, including a women's protection campaign and inclusion initiatives. Energy company Naturgy will allocate 10 million pesos for social projects, pocket forests, and firefighter training. Other participating industries include Farmacias Guadalajara, Ternium, Bulmatic, Impact Hub, and Pinturas Doal, each contributing between 2 and 3 million pesos.
