During the Easter holiday period, from April 2 to 5, the Bosque La Primavera Protected Natural Area (ANP) received 46,791 visitors. A large-scale operation was launched to ensure safety, involving 375 personnel and 91 units from various government departments. The operation was coordinated by the Bosque La Primavera Public Decentralized Organization (OPD), in collaboration with ejidatarios, landowners, volunteers, and authorities from all levels of government. Checkpoints were set up to prevent the entry of alcoholic beverages, grills, and other items that could cause fires. Staff conducted continuous surveillance and provided assistance to visitors at strategic points. Special attention was paid to the Río Caliente area, which had the highest concentration of visitors. According to authorities, the measures implemented helped maintain safe conditions for all visitors. During the same period, 11,998 vehicles entered the forest area through controlled access points, a 26% increase compared to 2025. Authorities reiterated the call for visitors to act responsibly and clean up their trash.
