Karime Pindter Premieres Her Documentary 'La verdadera Matryoshka'

Being in the cinema is not just an achievement for me, it is a demonstration that Latina women in this industry can produce our own stories,” expressed Pindter.

The project also offers a close look at her inner circle, where figures such as Galilea Montijo and Andrea Legarreta appear, as well as friends and prominent members of the LGBT+ community, who accompany her both in moments of celebration and in the most challenging ones.

In addition, the documentary marks the beginning of a new musical chapter in her career with the release of "Sex Siren", a female empowerment theme produced by Luis Salazar —who has worked with artists like Maluma, Sebastián Yatra and Chayanne— and composed by Samantha Cámara, known for collaborating with Anitta, Danna Paola and Kenya Os.

"La verdadera Matryoshka" not only represents a personal achievement for Karime, but it is also positioned as a key piece within contemporary pop culture in Mexico, paving the way for more entertainment figures to bet on telling their own stories from an author's perspective.

When and where will the documentary premiere?

The film will arrive in theaters through Cinemex Alternativo on April 23.

"I wanted to show that behind the phrases and the high luxuries, there is a whole process... insecurities, fears to overcome and a lot of work," Pindter said.

"I have been living in front of a camera for more than ten years, but always under someone else's rules. With this documentary, I take control," she added.

The film moves between comedy, pop culture and entertainment to show not only her irreverent personality, but also her most vulnerable side, facing insecurities and fears that are rarely seen on camera.

The central axis of the documentary follows one of the most important challenges of her life: her preparation for the final of "La Más Draga" in front of more than 20 thousand people, a challenge that pushes her out of her comfort zone by trying to mount a high-level show without dance experience.

Media personality Karime Pindter marks a before and after in entertainment in Mexico by bringing her life to the big screen with "La verdadera Matryoshka: Un documental de Karime Pindter".

With this release, the also businesswoman and host becomes the first Mexican celebrity to star in, produce and direct her own documentary with commercial distribution in cinemas, consolidating a new stage in her career after more than a decade of exposure in reality shows.

Far from the rules of traditional television, Pindter bets on an intimate and unfiltered narrative, where she takes full control of her story.
