The racetrack will become a meeting point for the automotive community, with an event that will not only define the drift champions but will also celebrate the passion for cars and speed.
Urquiza has been working on preparing his car to meet the event's demands and expects to make a good impression in his debut. "Although it's my first time in the championship, I've learned a lot about drifting in the last few months and I'm ready to compete," he stated.
The event will not only be for fans of competitive motorsports, but will also offer options for the whole family. Although he has experience in other championships, this will be his first foray into drifting, a type of competition where controlled slides and precision driving are key.
"I've been working hard for this moment and I hope that effort translates into first place," commented Priaz, who also took the opportunity to invite the public to witness the thrills of drifting up close.
On the other hand, Querétaro's Fercho Urquiza will make his debut in the MDC. The drift championship, one of the most anticipated events in the national motorsport scene, will conclude in a marathon day of eight hours. More than 30 drivers from across the country will compete in the final event of the season, where the champion will be crowned.
Expectations are high, as competitors have shown outstanding levels throughout the year, and this date will be crucial in determining the best in the circuit. In addition to the drift competition, the day will include a series of complementary activities aimed at enriching the experience for attendees.
There will also be drag races, where vehicles will be measured in speed on a straight track to demonstrate their power and precision. Organizers have confirmed the inclusion of custom car and disguised vehicle exhibitions, which will add a unique touch to the event. These exhibitions aim not only to showcase the aesthetic work on automobiles but also to promote creativity and ingenuity in vehicle customization.
The competition in the amateur category will have a special focus on Natalia Priaz, who currently ranks third in the overall classification. The timed slalom tests, which consist of completing a circuit with tight corners in the shortest time possible, will attract drivers from various motorsport clubs, totaling around 100 cars in this event.
There will be an area dedicated to interactive activities, which will include a remote-controlled car race, allowing younger attendees to engage with the automotive world in a fun way. Tickets for the grand finale are already on sale on the official page, and organizers expect a large turnout to close the season with a flourish in Querétaro.
The driver has maintained a consistent performance throughout the season and is just a few points away from the lead, giving her the chance to fight for the title in the last event. "It's going to be a very competitive day, but I trust in my preparation."
