The theater producer Alejandro Gou recently confirmed that he would create a new version of the play "La Señora Presidenta," which was previously starred by Gonzalo Vega and Héctor Suárez (RIP). However, both Gala Montes and Karime Pindter have been left out of this new staging. Mario Bezares, winner of first place in a Televisa reality show, will now be the protagonist.
According to Arath de la Torre, the schedules of Gala and Karime could not be coordinated with the rest of the cast, which prevented them from attending the scheduled rehearsals for the show set to premiere in November. This decision comes after it was leaked that Briggitte Bozzo demanded a higher salary than Karime Pindter to participate in the play. Briggitte Bozzo remains in the project but has kept the names of the fellow actresses who ultimately left the cast a secret.
Before their exit from the project, Karime and Gala were part of the "Team Mar," however, due to individual commitments, they could not join the rehearsals of "La Señora Presidenta." Although Bozzo had previously denied asking for a salary higher than her colleagues, this controversy has generated speculation around salary equity among the actresses. So far, the producer has not issued an official confirmation about the changes in the cast.
