A Kantar research revealed that by the end of 2024, 36% of Mexicans have expressed their intention to improve their diet in the coming year, while 21% plan to incorporate physical activity and the gym into their routine. In response to these goals, the Quaker brand, a leader in nutrition within PepsiCo, reaffirms its commitment to helping people improve their lifestyle with the initiative "Removing Excuses with the Quaker Challenge."
To inspire participants to discover their best version, Quaker is organizing the Quaker Fest, an event that offers interactive activities, workshops, and tastings from February 7th to 9th at the Xochipilli Chapultepec Fountain. During the festival, oats will be promoted as an essential food that can provide energy and improve digestion with just 4 tablespoons a day.
The program "Removing Excuses with the Quaker Challenge" aims to be the ideal ally for those wishing to adopt healthy habits, offering free physical activity routines and practical oat-based recipes, a food with essential nutritional benefits. Quaker's Marketing Director, Liliana Huerta, emphasized the importance of promoting the combination of nutrition and exercise for greater well-being throughout 2025.
Among the activities offered is the Quaker Challenge, which will challenge participants to improve their well-being for 21 days through exercises and recipes with oats. Additionally, free functional training classes will be held in Commando studios on specific dates. The Nutrition Director, Brenda Salgado, highlighted that oats are an excellent source of energy and fiber that benefits digestion.
Quaker, as part of PepsiCo, is guided by the PepsiCo Positive (pep+) vision, which seeks to promote well-being through Positive Choices, providing consumers with clear information so they can make healthy decisions. Registrations to participate in the activities will be available starting January 20th, including the Social Running Club with scheduled dates for February and March.
